Super visa-
A super visa lets you visit your children or grandchildren for up to 5 years at a time. It’s a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 10 years.

Requirements-
Inviter must be a PR or citizen of Canada, meets LICO requirement and write a letter of Invitation for the applicant. Applicant must be outside of Canada, allowed to enter Canada, take an Immigration Medical Exam, and have a medical insurance from a Canadian company of at least $100,000 coverage valid for at least 1 year from the date of entry. Super visa is the best category to apply for Canadian PR or citizen children to invite their parents or grandparents, but they can always apply for visitor visa if they do not meet LICO requirements.

Visitor Visa-
Visitor visa can be granted up to 10 years. A person can stay for 6 months at a time. Visitor Record can be obtained which means an extension can be granted if they require time to stay for longer with a valid reason. TRV is required to enter back into Canada by students or workers even if they have a valid study or work permit. Restoration of status as a visitor or worker can be done in case a person passes the time to apply for any extension to stay in Canada.
